The head of the Foreign Relations Committee of U.S. Senate John Kerry during his visit to the state of North Darfur met with the Special Representative of the Joint Chief of Mission officials and UNAMID mission Professor Ibrahim Gambari.
Kerry get aquated with the humanitarian situation of security and recent developments in Darfur, and efforts to help displaced people and preparations for the referendum .
Kerry also held a meeting with the governor the state Osman Yusuf kibir discussing issues of concern between the two sides.
