Open in new windowMinister of Interior Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid has reiterated his ministry's adherence to protect the constitutional right of the southern citizens which is considered as the last right in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement signed in 2005 according to which the south Sudan referendum process starts Sunday.
In a press statement he pointed to the completion of all preparations to secure the referendum process and its aftermath, saying that the Sudan will present to the world another message affirming its development and respect to the laws and constitutions and making good opportunities to practice the constitutional rights in a healthy environment.
He directed all the citizens to be aware of future issues adding that the Sudanese citizen has presented a model of patriotism in all the spheres.
