Leader of ex-rebel Liberation and Justice Movement (LJM) Tigani Al-Sessi will take oath of office today Sunday as Chairman of the Transitional Darfur Regional Authority. Addressing a celebration held at the Youth Stadium in Al-Ingaz quarter
on the occasion of his arrival Saturday evening, Mr. Alsessi has announced the start of a real partnership between his movement and the government for implementation of Doha Peace Document, pledging that this partnership will continue till realization of peace and stability in the region. He said that the overcoming of challenges depends on the unity of all the Sudanese people, stressing that the Liberation and Justice will remain a national one.
Mr. Al-Sessi called on all the armed movements to sign Darfur Peace
Document and to join the peace march. He said that his movement looks forward for a better and prosperous future for Sudan. He called for expanding the scope of participation in the coming government and restoration of the economic balance.
