The Chairperson of the Islamic Chamber for Commerce and Industry Al-Shiekh Salih Kamil has urged all countries in the Islamic and Arab World to direct their investments for Sudan to secure food to the Islamic World in order to face challenges facing the Muslims. Al-Sheikh Kamil stressed, in his address at the inaugural sitting of the 13th meetings of the Islamic Chamber for Commerce and Industry the importance of reviving the ethical values and cooperation for boosting the lofty virtue and prevention of vice as well as realization of economic development and social stability.
The representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ahmed Haddad, has underscored the necessity of ethical element in the economic activities, adding that the consequences of the financial crisis which negatively affected the Islamic countries necessitate coordination and cooperation in order to surpass them. He stressed the importance of the private sector for achieving economic development and expanding the scope of partnership with the Islamic governments and states to reactivate the economic activities. He also emphasized the importance of removing the impediments facing the small-scale and medium companies in the Islamic World toward enhancing the economies of the Islamic countries. He explained that the OIC established a team work to ease the difficulties that face funding in the countries at the region.
