The Armed Forces yesterday morning conducted a successful heroic troops air dropping operation at Yabus area, southern of the Blue Nile State, through which seven of the security and police officers were liberated from the rebellion detention
In press statement the liberated officers were working in Al-Kurmuk town before the recent incidents in the state and abducted by the rebels of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM) and detained in Yabus town
The officers have received a large official and people's reception at Damazin airport led by the governor of the Blue Nile State, Maj. Gen. Al-Hadi Bushra, and the Commander of the Fourth Division, Maj. Gen. Murtada Waraq
