Open in new windowThe First Vice Presiden Ali Osman Taha has affirmed that the philosophy of the admission in the higher education is based on distribution of students in the states to realize the balanced growth in all the states of the country. This came during a meeting at the Republican Palace Monday with the Minister of Higher Education, Khamis Kajo Kinda, who said in a press statement that he briefed the First Vice President on the arrangements of the Ministry of Higher Education to solve the problem of the workers and students of universities of Bahr Al-Ghazal and Upper Nile which relocated to the South Sudan after the secession.
He stated that the ministry has issued decisions to admit students of these universities in Bahri University, and those who obtained grades that qualify them to join other universities to enrol at the universities that they want to join, saying that the reconciliation of the status of the workers and students was made in accordance with the policies of the admission in the higher education.
