President of the Darfur Regional Authority (DRA) and Chairman of the Liberation and Justice Movement, Dr. Al-Tigani Al-Sesi, arrived in El-Fashir, the capital of North Darfur State.
He was received upon arrival at El-Fashir airport by the acting Governor of North Darfur State, Eng. Abu Al-Abass Abdullah Al-Tayeb Jido, some Cabinet Ministers, the State's Security Committee and the Ministers of the DRA
In a press statement an official Source at the DRA Dr. Al-Sesi will focus in the coming days on the preparations for holding the conference of the People of Darfur in the first week of July in El-Fashir.
It is to be noted that the First Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohammed Taha, will address the opening sitting of the Conference of the People of Darfur, which is expected to be held amid wide participation of peace mediators, international Organizations, executive and legislative leaders and leaders of native administration of Darfur States and national personalities from all over the Sudan.
