The President of the Republic Omer Albashir gave directives for representation of women by 50% in promotion committees in workplace in the state and the percentage of chairmanship of these committees to be doubled .
President Albashir made the directives Sunday in his address of the General Conference of the Sudanese Working Woman at the Friendship Hall, affirming state support to micro-finance projects to expand production and to assist the poor , the needy and the low-income families .
The President pointed out that working women are more disciplined and responsible in government's offices and proved the efficiency and ability to get the protection and care to preserve habits of cooperation and solidarity .
