The President of the Republic Omer Albashir hailed the distinguished Sudanese-Indian relations that boost mutual interests of the two countries. Receiving the Indian ambassador to Sudan on expiry of his office in Khartoum, President Albashir stressed importance of the development projects implemented by India in Sudan specially in the fields of electricity and rail ways. He appreciated efforts by the Indian ambassador to develop the bilateral relations during his term in Khartoum. Resident Albashir reiterated keenness of his government to provide facilities for the Indian companies operating investments in the country.
The ambassador expressed gratitude to the government of Sudan and the ministry of foreign affairs for the support he received during his work in Sudan.
