The First Vice-President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, affirmed that the government is keen to boost peace and development in Darfur.
Addressing a mass rally at Al-Fasher Stadium yesterday urged people of Darfur to continue in peace march set by Doha Document of Peace, commending in this regard the great efforts being exerted by State of Qatar on achievement of peace and reconstruction in Darfur
Meanwhile, the First Vice-President has lauded the efforts of government of the North Darfur State to support the poor and needy families and assured the people that all inputs for the agricultural season have been delivered to the concerned organs.
He also pointed to successes scored by the micro-financing projects in North Darfur State.
