Open in new windowThe Vice President of the Republic Al-Haj Adam Yosuf has got acquainted with the progress of the 4th Conference of the African Ministers of Communications and Information Technology taking place in Khartoum. This came when he received Monday the Minister of Sciences and Communications Eissa Bashari, calling for drafting legislative that protect Sudan's space as part of the African space in a view that each African State has the right to protect its space. The minister explained in a statement to the Press that the Vice President gave directives to make Sudan's chairmanship of the current session of the conference in favor of the entire continent and to work to utilize informatics to serve the development and economy.
The minister said that the Conference of the African Ministers of Communications proposed the establishment of an African Space Agency, revealing that Sudan has already started to establish a Sudanese Space Agency to work together with the African Space Agency in providing information.
