The Foreign Minister Ali Ahmed Karti will leave today Tuesday to the Austrian capital Vienna to co-sponsor with his Austrian counterpart the International Conference on Investment in Sudan which will be held under the theme" Sudan and Europe, Prospects of Cooperation for Regional Peace and Development " during October 10-12. The Minister said the Sudan delegation will comprise representatives of Sudanese Businessmen Union and the Higher Council for Investment in addition to European Union Mission in Sudan and the representative of the Arab League and numerous Arab and European economic institutions.
The conference comes in the frame work of the annual "Arab-Austrian Economic Forum" organized by the AACC which offers a unique platform in Austria for the exchange of expertise and the deepening of Austro-Arab relations in economy, trade, culture and diplomacy.
This year's "6th Arab-Austrian Economic Forum - International Conference in Vienna" organized in joint cooperation with several official institutions, representations and organizations, is focused on “Sudan and Europe: Prospects of Cooperation for Regional Peace and Development”. High-ranking politicians, experts and representatives from the public and private sector, officials from the bank and finance sector and representatives of other institutions from both Sudan, the Gulf Arab countries, Austria and the European Union have confirmed their participation and are going to present and discuss opportunities and challenges of a sustainable development in the region.
