The Speaker of the National Assembly Ahmed Ibrahim Attahir has announced that the comprehensive cooperation agreements signed by Sudan and South Sudan will be tabled today Tuesday before the National Assembly to deliberate on them. The Speaker, in his speech Monday before the opening sitting of the 6th session of the National Legislature (National Assembly and Council of Ministers), hailed efforts and patience of the negotiators and their keenness on the gains and interests of the people. Attahir called on the South Sudan officials to show good intentions and hard work to guarantee the security of both countries. Meanwhile, the Speaker urged all the Sudanese political forces to take part in the constitution making. He said that the Assembly will continue its role to ensure the completion of austerity measures and the re-structure in accordance with what has been agreed upon in the last budget, pointing out that the current session will be dedicated for discussion of the 2013 budget.
