The First Vice President Ali Osman Taha and the Former Prime Minister of Malaysia Mahathir Mohammed will inaugurate the Sudan Trade and Investment Forum on Thursday at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum. The Forum will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Foreign Trade as well as the Council of International People's Friendship and will be attended by some 30 government and private Malaysian companies. In this connection, General Director of Suda-Expo Company for Conference and Exhibitions, Salah Omer Al-Sheikh, the organizer of the Conference, revealed that many Malaysian companies and institutions will take part in the conference, top of which are the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation and other institutions in the fields of agriculture, Marketing, Research, Technologies, Education, training, infrastructure, aerial photography, hotels and airport constructions besides the Ministry of tourism, banks, importers of meat and Halal Corporation.
