The Presidency of the Republic has eulogized the ex- Presidential Advisor and member of the Fiq (Jurisprudence) Council Professor Ahmed Ali Alimam who passed away today Tuesday in Khartoum. The Late Professor Alimam was known for his devotion to knowledge and serving the homeland. He took part in internal and international forums defending the Islam and heritage of the country. He wrote tens of books on Islamic issues both in English and Arabic including “The variant reading of the Qur'an“. He was the first Chancellor of the Holy Qur'an University.
