Prizes and Awards won by Sudan Broadcasting service:

2002-- The Bronze medal : it was the first break through of Sudan Radio and it was in the 6^th Cairo festival for radio and TV in July 2002 , The programe was named “a word and story”.

The prize of the best producer was won by Altyeb Ibraheem Banaga on a poem “the assassination of Sultan Taguldeen”.

While the script got the prize of the best script.

2003-- Arab Song festival in Morocco ; where the radio realized the prize of the best composing of the song “ mowtnee”or my homeland written by Mahdi Mohamad Saeed and musically composed by Mohamad Jowar and presented by singer Asrar Babekir.

In Cairo international festival for Radio and TV in 2003 Sudan radio won the golden prize for radio drama series “ Domat Wad Hamid” written by Altyeb Saleh and prepared for radio by Musab Asawee and produced by Abu Baker Alhadi.

2004- Arab song festival in Libya , Sudan Radio also got the prize of the best musical composing of a song called” night charm” written by Mahdi Mohamad saeed and composed by Mohamad Jowar and presented by singer Mohamad Alkhatim Asiddig.

2004—the radio won the golden prize in the contest of documentary programes in Tnisia for the documentary programe named “Dinder protectorate” prepared by Musab Assawee and produced by Abu Bakr Alhadi.

2004—sudan radio won two golden prizes in Cairo international festival for radio and TV on a programe named “glimpse from Sudanese heritage’ prepared by Rawdah Alhag and produced by Shazali Abdulgader.

And a programe on Babekir Badri ingenuity prepared by Intisar Awad and produced by Kamal Abadi.

2005—Sudan radio won the golden prize of Cairo international festival on a programe named ‘ pleasure on peace tunes” prepared by Ibraheem Albuzaie and produced by Hassab Arasool Kamaluldeen.

Also the musical composition of “Nabta Habebati’ by Bashir Abas won the Bronze prize.

2007-the poet Mohamad Ahmad Sorkati and his poem ‘Mata Yaood” or when he will return won in the Arab songs festival in Algeria.

2008—The radio has achieved an internationally professional success , when in July it realized the second place in the radio song and musical composing contest which hosted by Yemen. The Sudanese song “the Date’ written by Abdulwahab Hellawie and composed by Dr. Almahi Suliman ; presented by the singer Dr. Othman Mustafa .

2009- The winning of the Bronze medal in the radio and TV festival which held on July in Tunisia for the children programe ‘Albustan Magazine” prepared and presented by Abdulaziz Abdulateef.

2009—Sudan radio won the second prize for the programe “ Magazine : from the Arab radios” in the radio programe exchange contest organized by the ASBU and announced in Tunisia on the 13^th of November 2009. The programe was prepared by Ieman Mohamad Alhassan and presented by Mohamad Khair Alfaki and jawahir Mahmoud alshareef.

2009—the silver medal for the song ‘Fehmook Ghalat “ in Cairo festival for Arab information in Nov.15^th 2009 in the field of the Arab radio song. It was written by hasan Alzebair and composed by Dr. Almahi Suliman and presented by the singer Nader Khidir
